“Valentines From God” Bible Reading Plan for Kids – Free Printable
I’m excited to share another free printable with your today. And it’s just in time for celebrating Valentine’s Day with your kids!
Ever since posting my “Choose Your Own Adventure” Bible Reading Plan for kids, I’ve heard great feedback about it and requests for more kids’ Bible reading plans. Well, I listened! And now I’m happy to offer a second reading plan that’s based on the theme of “Valentines from God.” It’s great for kids to use for personal Bible reading, or for families to read together.
As much as I love candy conversation hearts and chocolate-covered marshmallow treats, I also want to give my kids “treats for their soul” during during Valentines’ Day. With that idea in mind, I set to work looking for short, easy-to-understand Bible passages that can deepen kids’ understanding of love–both God’s love for them, and the ways they can demonstrate their love for God. I put them together in a 28-day reading plan that’s perfect for the month of February. (But really, any of the month of the year is a great time to learn more about God’s love!)
For each day of the plan, I offer a short Bible passage to read, and then space to write down two important points from the passage:
- What does this verse tell me about God’s love? ( God’s Valentine to Me )
- What does this verse tell me about how I can love God? ( My Valentine to God )
There’s also space for kids to put that all-important checkmark when they finish their reading, along with the date they read it. And of course, I added some fun colors and heart-themed designs for them to enjoy as they work their way through the kids’ Bible study plan.
